Last year during the pandemic, Rabbis that are kohanim who had lead pidyon haben ceremonies in the past, were unable to do so due to the pandemic. He took the initiative and formed a group of younger kohanim rabbis who would lead pidyon haben ceremonies.

Rabbi gross’ father, Rabbi Yaakov Gross, is the Rosh Kollel of Miami Beach community Kollel, the son of Rabbi Chiam Gross zt”l former rabbi of Congr. Beth e-l of Bennington VT.
